Grass Cutting
Mowing is one of the most important pitch maintenance operations. Mowing can dictate the appearance, health and vigour of the grass sward
Fertilising
Slow releasing fertilisers will give your sports turf surface a consistent growth pattern throughout the year.
Secondary Drainage
Installed to take excess water away from the surface down to the main system and lateral drains below using either our 2m Sandmaster (260mm centres), or AFT Whizwheel to create 50mm wide gravel bands.
Overseeding
Improve grass coverage, introduces grass species with improved growth properties and improve disease resistance
Sand Top Dressing
The addition of sand restores levels and improve surface drainage
Verti-drain
Alleviate compaction, increase gaseous exchange within the soil to improve grass growth using our 2.6m Charterhause Verti-drainers
Scarification
Rakes out dead grasses and opens up the sward, allowing the new grasses to flourish
ShockWave
Our 2.75m Imants Shockwave is a linear decompactor, designed to revitalise heavy wear areas by relieving soil compaction, improving aeration and removing surface water
Hollowcore
Different size cores are removed from the ground for soil exchange and improved aeration. Cores can be removed using a core harvester
Weed Control
Applied to invasive plants that compete with the grass for space to grow, leaving the grass unharmed.
